Decision support

Bridge decision support

Asset owners hold more information about their bridges than ever before. The difficulty is bringing it together at the moment a decision has to be made.

Traffic loads, structural models and asset records usually live in separate systems, maintained by separate teams. Each is useful on its own; the decision value appears when they can be read together.

Tousif contributed to the data architecture and validation work connecting these sources within a shared decision context, so that engineering judgement could draw on combined evidence rather than isolated reports.

The aim was practical: better-informed asset decisions, grounded in information the organisation already holds.
